  • What is the Makaratta process all about?
  • Why does it matter to all of us, as individuals and as a nation?
  • How do we grow honest truth telling in our families and organisations?
  • What can we do, as individuals, groups, and as a nation, to contribute towards justice, agreement making, and treaties?

Makaratta Workshop Presenter Carol Vale grew up in an Aboriginal mission and has lasting ties to the Dhungutti, Gumbaingirr and Anaiwan peoples. Carol has worked in many government and community organisations and recently started her own company, Murawin, to drive change for First Nations people and strengthen cultural diversity in organisations.

This event is organised in collaboration with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations who will also contribute to the evening, and is supported by the City of Parramatta Council.
